王后耶洗別來問他說：「你為甚麼心裏這樣憂悶，不吃飯呢？」

耶洗別王后來對他說：「你為甚麼心裏這樣生氣，不吃飯呢？」

他妻子耶洗別過來問他：「王為什麼煩悶，不思飲食呢？」

他的妻子耶洗別進來見他，問他說：“你為甚麼心裡這麼煩悶，連飯也不吃呢？”

王后耶洗別來見他，問他說：『為甚麼你心裏這樣愁悶、以致不喫飯呢？』

其后耶洗別詣之曰、心憂不食、曷故、

His wife Jezebel came in and asked him,“ Why are you so sullen? Why won’t you eat?”
