But seat two scoundrels opposite him and have them bring charges that he has cursed both God and the king. Then take him out and stone him to death.”

于是他们暗中唆使人说：“我们听过这个人针对摩西和神说亵渎的话语。”

当时，祭司长们和全议会的人为了要处死耶稣，都在寻找伪证来控告他。虽然有许多假见证人上前来，可是他们找不出什么。后来有两个人上前来，说：“这个人说过：‘我能拆毁神的圣所，三天内又建起来。’”于是大祭司就站起来，问耶稣：“对这些人控告你的事，你什么都不回应吗？”耶稣却沉默不语。大祭司又对他说：“我命令你指着永生的神起誓，告诉我们你是不是基督——神的儿子？”耶稣回答他，说：“你已经说了。不过我告诉你们：将来你们会看见人子坐在全能者的右边，在天上的云彩中来临。”大祭司就撕裂自己的衣服，说：“他说了亵渎的话！难道我们还需要什么见证人吗？看，现在你们都听见了这亵渎的话。你们怎么看？”他们回答说：“他是该死的！”

他们回答：“我们不会为了什么美好之事用石头砸死你，而是为了你说亵渎的话！因为你不过是人，竟然把自己当做神！”

并且推出假见证人说：“这个人不断地说亵渎神的话语，反对这圣所和律法。
