Why then have you not kept the oath of the Lord and the commandment that I gave you?”

爾何不守指主所發之誓、不遵我諭爾之命耶、

Why then did you not keep your oath to the Lord and obey the command I gave you?”

So why didn’t you keep your promise to the Lord? Why didn’t you obey the command I gave you?”

Why then have you not kept your oath to the Lord and the commandment with which I commanded you?”

Then why haven’t you kept your oath to the Lord and obeyed my command?”

So why have you not kept the LORD’s oath and the command that I gave you?”

Why then hast thou not kept the oath of Jehovah, and the commandment that I have charged thee with?

Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake.

So the king called the Gibeonites and spoke to them. Now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites; the children of Israel had sworn protection to them, but Saul had sought to kill them in his zeal for the children of Israel and Judah.

I say,“ Keep the king’s commandment for the sake of your oath to God.

Also the hand of God was on Judah to give them singleness of heart to obey the command of the king and the leaders, at the word of the Lord.

Since he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, and in fact gave his hand and still did all these things, he shall not escape.’”Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:“ As I live, surely My oath which he despised, and My covenant which he broke, I will recompense on his own head.
