与你在一起的有巴户琳的便雅悯人基拉的儿子示每；我往玛哈念去的那天，他用狠毒的咒语咒骂我。后来他下到约旦河来迎接我的时候，我就指着耶和华向他起誓，说：‘我必不用刀杀死你。’现在，你不要以他为无罪，你是个聪明人，你必知道该怎样待他，使他白发苍苍流血下到阴间。”

智慧的王簸散恶人，并用车轮碾他们。

大卫王来到巴户琳的时候，忽然有一人从那里出来，他是属扫罗家族的，名叫示每，是基拉的儿子。他一边出来，一边咒骂；又拿石头投掷大卫和大卫王所有的臣仆，那时众人和众勇士都在王的左右。示每咒骂的时候，这样说：“你这流人血的人啊，滚开！你这无赖啊，滚开！你流了扫罗全家的血，接替扫罗作王，耶和华已经把这罪报应在你身上；耶和华已经把这国交在你儿子押沙龙的手里。看哪！你现在自取其祸了，因为你是个流人血的人。”洗鲁雅的儿子亚比筛对王说：“为什么让这条死狗咒骂我主我王呢？让我过去，把他的头砍下来。”

押沙龙在耶路撒冷住了两年，都没有见王的面。

王说：“让他回自己的家里去，不要见王的面。”押沙龙就转回自己的家里去，没有见王的面。

君王坐在审判的位上，他的眼目查察一切恶事。
