So King Solomon gave orders to Benaiah son of Jehoiada, and he struck down Adonijah and he died.

Then David commanded the young men, and they killed them and cut off their hands and feet, and hung them up beside the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ish bosheth and buried it in the grave of Abner in Hebron.

But Samuel said,“ As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women.” And Samuel cut Agag to pieces before the Lord at Gilgal.

So the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and he went out and struck him so that he died. And the kingdom was established in the hands of Solomon.
