He looked around, and there by his head was some bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank and then lay down again.

Elijah looked around. Near his head he saw some bread. It had been baked over hot coals. A jar of water was also there. So Elijah ate and drank. Then he lay down again.

And he looked, and behold, there was at his head a cake baked on hot stones and a jar of water. And he ate and drank and lay down again.

He looked around and there beside his head was some bread baked on hot stones and a jar of water! So he ate and drank and lay down again.

He looked and right there by his head was a cake baking on hot coals and a jug of water. He ate and drank and then slept some more.

于是，魔鬼离了耶稣，有天使来伺候他。

乌鸦早晚给他叼饼和肉来，他也喝那溪里的水。

“你起身往西顿的撒勒法去，住在那里；我已吩咐那里的一个寡妇供养你。”以利亚就起身往撒勒法去。到了城门，见有一个寡妇在那里捡柴，以利亚呼叫她说：“求你用器皿取点水来给我喝。”她去取水的时候，以利亚又呼叫她说：“也求你拿点饼来给我！”她说：“我指着永生耶和华你的神起誓，我没有饼，坛内只有一把面，瓶里只有一点油；我现在找两根柴，回家要为我和我儿子做饼；我们吃了，死就死吧！”以利亚对她说：“不要惧怕！可以照你所说的去做吧！只要先为我做一个小饼拿来给我，然后为你和你的儿子做饼。因为耶和华以色列的神如此说：坛内的面必不减少，瓶里的油必不缺短，直到耶和华使雨降在地上的日子。”妇人就照以利亚的话去行。她和她家中的人，并以利亚，吃了许多日子。

“我怜悯这众人；因为他们同我在这里已经三天，也没有吃的了。我若打发他们饿着回家，就必在路上困乏，因为其中有从远处来的。”

你当倚靠耶和华而行善，住在地上，以他的信实为粮；

他们上了岸，就看见那里有炭火，上面有鱼，又有饼。

耶稣就对他们说：“小子！你们有吃的没有？”他们回答说：“没有。”

这都是外邦人所求的。你们需用的这一切东西，你们的天父是知道的。

他必居高处；他的保障是磐石的坚垒；他的粮必不缺乏；他的水必不断绝。
