Meanwhile, the sky grew black with clouds, the wind rose, a heavy rain started falling and Ahab rode off to Jezreel.

將掃羅和他兒子約拿單的骸骨埋葬在便雅憫地的洗拉、在掃羅父親基士的墳墓裏。眾人行了王所吩咐的；此後上帝就應允了那地所懇求的。

跟着那以色列人進圓拱帳幕，把他們兩個人刺死，就是刺死那以色列人和那女人，槍由肚子裏透過去。這樣、疫症就從以色列人中制住了。

眾民看見了，就臉伏於地，說：『永恆主才是上帝！永恆主才是上帝！』以利亞對他們說：『將巴力的神言人捉住；一個也不可讓逃脫。』眾人就把他們捉住；以利亞將他們帶下去到基順谿谷中，在那裏把他們宰殺掉。
