立吾弟哈拿尼、及司保障之哈拿尼雅、同治耶路撒冷、哈拿尼雅為人忠誠、寅畏上帝、超越於眾、

前方伯責民供億、日索糈糧與酒、銀四十舍客勒、僕從亦從而挾制之、我寅畏上帝不行是、

至三日、語之曰、我寅畏上帝、有一策焉、爾若從之、則可得生、

寅畏耶和華者、其望維堅、後裔必得避所、

於是僕自其主之駝中取十、並攜主家之佳品、起而往米所波大米、詣拿鶴所居之邑、

我離爾而往、耶和華之神、將攜爾至我所不知之地、我往告亞哈、彼索爾不得、則必殺我、然爾僕自幼寅畏耶和華、

曰、爾於孺子、勿著手、勿加傷、蓋爾於我、不惜獨生之子、我知爾寅畏上帝矣、

爾可治我家、我民舉止、咸遵爾命、我尊於爾、只在國位、

殺身而不能殺魂者、勿懼之、寧懼能滅身及魂於地獄者、

亞伯拉罕語其家宰、即司全業之老僕曰、爾其置手於我髀下、

故加以恩、俾侍左右、委治家業、悉以所有、歸其掌握、自委治家業、耶和華為約瑟故、錫嘏其主埃及人家、凡在室在田、咸蒙福祉、

萬國中有畏之而行義者、為其悅納也、

此家之中、莫大於我、除爾為主室外、無一不歸我者、曷敢干此元惡、獲罪於上帝、

其人敬虔、舉家畏上帝、博施於民、恆於祈禱、
