他步耶羅波安的後塵，做耶和華視為惡的事，使以色列人陷入罪中。

這使民眾陷入罪中，因為他們開始到但去拜金牛犢。

這是因為耶羅波安犯罪，並使以色列人陷入罪中，惹以色列的上帝耶和華發怒。

這罪使耶羅波安家走向沒落，最終徹底滅亡。

「我從塵土中提拔你，立你為我以色列子民的王，你卻重蹈耶羅波安的覆轍，使我的子民陷入罪中，惹我發怒。

這世界有禍了！因為裡面充滿了引人犯罪的事。這樣的事是免不了的，但那些引人犯罪的人有禍了！

耶和華擊殺百姓，是因為他們曾與亞倫一起造牛犢。

以法蓮因甘願追隨偶像而受欺壓，被審判壓碎。我要使以法蓮像蟲蛀的衣服，使猶大家像朽爛的木頭。

因此我就任憑他們頑固不化，為所欲為。

就是先知說假預言，祭司濫用權力，我的子民卻以此為樂。但當最後的結局來臨時，他們還能做什麼呢？

以法蓮要被擊打，他們的根將枯乾，再也不能結果。就算他們能生兒育女，我也要殺死他們心愛的孩子。」我的上帝必棄絕他們，因為他們不聽從祂。他們必在列國中流離飄泊。

他們像草一樣剛被栽上，剛被種上，剛在土裡扎根，上帝一口氣吹來，便都枯乾了，暴風將他們像禾稭一樣吹去。

摩西對亞倫說：「這些百姓對你做了什麼？你竟使他們陷入大罪中！」

因為你遵守暗利的惡規，效法亞哈家的惡行，隨從他們的計謀，所以我要使你荒涼，讓你的居民成為笑柄。你們要蒙受列國的羞辱。」

以法蓮人的榮耀要如鳥飛逝，你們將不能受孕，不能懷胎，也不能生育。你們縱然把孩子養大，我也要奪去他們的性命，一個也不留。我撇棄你們的時候，你們就有禍了！

所以，我們不可再互相論斷，要留心自己的言行，不要絆倒弟兄姊妹。
