又拆毁了毗努伊勒的望楼，杀死了那城里的人。

于是，雅各给那地方起名叫毗努伊勒，意思说：“我面对面看见了神，我的性命仍得保全。”雅各经过毗努伊勒的时候，太阳刚刚出来，照在他身上。他因为大腿的伤，跛脚行走。

以色列王巴沙上来攻击犹大，修筑拉玛，不准人进出到犹大王亚撒那里。

耶路．巴力的儿子亚比米勒，到示剑去见他的众母舅，对他们和他母亲的全体族人说：
