So the king did not listen to the people, for this turn of events was from the Lord, to fulfill the word the Lord had spoken to Jeroboam son of Nebat through Ahijah the Shilonite.

So the king didn’t listen to the people. That’s because the Lord had planned it that way. What he had said through Ahijah came true. Ahijah had spoken the Lord’ s message to Jeroboam, the son of Nebat. Ahijah was from Shiloh.

耶和華云、此我所使、爾毋往與同族兄弟以色列族戰、各歸故土。民從耶和華命而歸。○

故復諭之曰、因爾行是、不守我約、及我所諭之禮儀、我必奪爾國祚、以予爾僕。

蓋是時以色列族為非利士人所轄、參孫父母不知斯事由於耶和華、使參孫與非利士人生其釁隙。

時我上帝耶和華聽希實本王西宏剛愎厥心、不容我過其地、為我所敗、以今日之事為證。

亞馬謝之弗聽、皆出上帝意、因彼宗事以東人上帝、將使彼為敵所敗。

亞哈謝之見約藍而遇害、乃上帝所命、相見時、則偕約藍、往迓寧示子耶戶、昔耶和華所沐以膏、使滅亞哈全家者、

士卒既釘耶穌、取其衣四分之、士卒各一、又取其裏衣裏衣無縫、上下渾織、士卒相語曰、勿裂之、鬮觀誰得、經云、分我外服、鬮我裏衣、應矣、士卒所為者如是也、○

適耶羅破暗衣新製之服、自耶路撒冷出時、先知者示羅人亞希雅遇諸塗、無人在側。亞希雅取耶羅破暗所衣之新服、裂成十有二方、告之曰、爾必取十方、蓋以色列族上帝耶和華曰、我將分裂以色列國、奪於所羅門手、畀爾十支派、緣我僕大闢、又緣我所簡之耶路撒冷、在以色列族中者、我必以一支派予大闢後裔。所羅門與其家、背逆乎我、崇拜西頓人之上帝亞大綠、摩押人之上帝基抹、亞捫人之上帝密君、不從我道、不行善於我前、不守我禮儀法度、不於其父大闢是則是效、故必奪其國祚、然不奪其全土、必使之為王以畢其生、緣我所簡之僕大闢、恪守我禁令法度故也。乃必奪國祚於所羅門子、以十支派予爾、遺一支派予彼、使我僕大闢歷世有光、於我所簡之耶路撒冷、為籲我名之所。我將以爾為王、任爾所欲、治以色列族、如爾聽從我命、行由我道、作善於我前、守我禁令禮儀、效我僕大闢所為、則我必祐爾、鞏固爾國、與大闢無異、以以色列族畀爾治之。

以色列族之赫赫上帝、異乎世人、不失其信、不回其志。

今有神感爾之先知、使之浮言、耶和華聽之。然耶和華有言、必降災於王。

居耶路撒冷者、及其有司、不知基督、亦不知安息日所誦先知言、是以定擬基督、適應先知言、雖末由入以死罪、然求彼拉多殺之、既應記所載、由木取尸而下、葬之、

士卒至、將同釘者、一一折脛、及耶穌、見其已死、不折、一卒以戈刺其脅、血水俱出、見者為證、其證真、自知言真、使爾曹信也、此事成、則經言其骨不折、又言人將觀其所刺者、應矣、○

兄弟乎、今我知爾所行、出於不知耳、爾之有司亦猶是、

斯世之億兆、藐乎其小、有如無物、天下軍旅、地下人民、上帝隨意而作、其取之、孰能禦之、其為之、孰能詰之、

昔耶和華命厥僕以利亞、論亞哈之家、今已行之、蓋耶和華之言必無不應、爾眾所當知也。

自始迄終、未來之事、我一一預言、我旨必成、意必就。召彼鷙鳥、至自東土、我所簡者、來自遠方、我言已出、必踐之、我意已定、必成之、

言時、王阻之、曰、爾非言官、諫我奚為、獨不畏罪乎。先知不敢復諫、曰、爾弗聽從、我知上帝必敗爾。

違逆上帝、罪惡貫盈、上帝必降罰、使自罹詭謀、而取其戾。

此後耶穌知諸事已成、乃曰、我渴、而經應矣、在彼有器盛醯、人以醯漬海絨、束之牛膝草、遞至其口、

以成爾權、爾旨預定之事、

左右反告。耶戶曰、昔耶和華命的庇人以利亞云、在耶斯烈田、耶洗別必為犬所噬、

此人也、上帝定旨、敕命解之、爾曹果以不義之手、取而釘之死、

邑中吹角、民豈得不懼、邑中有禍、豈非我耶和華使之然乎、

爾自謂必昇天、位崇隆、越乎至高之星辰、坐峻峭之山、入大會之中、躋北極之所、將及雲霄、比儗至尊。今爾下陰府幽冥之所、見爾者必駭然曰、震動天下、使列國畏懼、荒其四境、毀其邑垣、不反俘囚者、非斯人與。

押沙龍及以色列族眾曰、亞其人戶篩之議、較亞希多弗尤善。蓋耶和華欲廢亞希多弗議、以敗押沙龍。
