“我所拣选的禁食不是要松开凶恶的绳，解下轭上的索，使被欺压的得自由，折断一切的轭吗？

人子啊，虽有荆棘和蒺藜在你那里，你又住在蝎子中间，总不要怕他们，也不要怕他们的话；他们虽是悖逆之家，还不要怕他们的话，也不要因他们的脸色惊惶。

埃及人严严地使以色列人做工，使他们因做苦工觉得命苦；无论是和泥，是做砖，是做田间各样的工，在一切的工上都严严地待他们。

亚撒因此恼恨先见，将他囚在监里。那时亚撒也虐待一些人民。

又说：“看哪，这地的以色列人如今众多，你们竟叫他们歇下担子！”当天，法老吩咐督工的和官长说：“你们不可照常把草给百姓做砖，叫他们自己去捡草。他们素常做砖的数目，你们仍旧向他们要，一点不可减少；因为他们是懒惰的，所以呼求说：‘容我们去祭祀我们的神。’你们要把更重的工夫加在这些人身上，叫他们劳碌，不听虚谎的言语。”

但哪一邦肯把颈项放在巴比伦王的轭下服侍他，我必使那邦仍在本地存留，得以耕种居住。这是耶和华说的。”

照着少年人所出的主意对民说：“我父亲使你们负重轭，我必使你们负更重的轭！我父亲用鞭子责打你们，我要用蝎子鞭责打你们！”

有蝗虫从烟中出来，飞到地上；有能力赐给它们，好像地上蝎子的能力一样，并且吩咐它们说，不可伤害地上的草和各样青物，并一切树木，惟独要伤害额上没有神印记的人。但不许蝗虫害死他们，只叫他们受痛苦五个月。这痛苦就像蝎子螫人的痛苦一样。在那些日子，人要求死，决不得死；愿意死，死却远避他们。蝗虫的形状，好像预备出战的马一样，头上戴的好像金冠冕，脸面好像男人的脸面，头发像女人的头发，牙齿像狮子的牙齿。胸前有甲，好像铁甲。它们翅膀的声音，好像许多车马奔跑上阵的声音。有尾巴像蝎子，尾巴上的毒钩能伤人五个月。

现在你们去做工吧！草是不给你们的，砖却要如数交纳。”

“你去告诉哈拿尼雅说，耶和华如此说：你折断木轭，却换了铁轭！因为万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说：我已将铁轭加在这些国的颈项上，使他们服侍巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，他们总要服侍他；我也把田野的走兽给了他。”
