I will give one tribe to his son so that David my servant may always have a lamp before me in Jerusalem, the city where I chose to put my Name.

I will give one of the tribes to David’s son. Then my servant David will always have a son on his throne in Jerusalem. The lamp of David’s kingdom will always burn brightly in my sight. Jerusalem is the city I chose for my Name.

然耶和華以其僕大衛故、不滅猶大、依其所許、永錫燈光於大衛、爰及子孫、

然不奪其全國、因我僕大衛、及我所簡之耶路撒冷故、以一支派錫予爾子、○

必為大衛生角、為我受膏者備燈兮、

然耶和華不欲滅大衛家、因與大衛立約、許以永賜燈光於彼、爰及子孫、

洗魯雅子亞比篩救之、擊殺非利士人、於是大衛僕從誓曰、嗣後爾勿復偕我出戰、恐滅以色列之燈光、○

爾家爾國必堅立、爾位必堅定、至於永遠、

為我儕挺生拯救之角、於其僕大衛室、如自世之始、藉聖先知之口所言、

如經云、此後我將反、復建大衛傾覆之幕、復建其頹垣而立之、俾其餘民、及凡奉我名之異邦人尋主也、

諭之曰、爾於我前、所祈所禱者、我聞之矣、爾所建之室、我區別為聖、以永寄我名、我目我心、必恆久在彼、

今願錫嘏於爾僕家、俾永存於爾前、主耶和華歟、爾既言之、願爾僕家永享爾福、

是日也、我將起大衛傾覆之幕、而彌其隙、興其荒墟、建之同於昔日、使彼得以東之遺民、及以我名而稱之諸邦、行斯事之耶和華言之矣、

蓋耶和華曰、大衛必永不乏人、居以色列家之位、祭司利未人亦不乏人、獻燔祭、焚素祭、恆獻他祭於我前、耶和華諭耶利米曰、耶和華云、我所立晝夜之約、如爾曹能廢之、使晝夜失時、則我與我僕大衛所立之約亦可廢、使彼乏嗣以踐其位、事我之祭司利未人、其約亦可廢焉、

惟因我僕大衛、及我於以色列支派中、所簡之邑耶路撒冷故、彼必得一支派、

爾所至者乃錫安山維生上帝邑、在天之耶路撒冷天軍萬數、

我遂感於聖神、被攜至一大且高之山、示我以聖邑耶路撒冷、由上帝自天而降、

即因我上帝矜恤之心、使旭日自上臨我、照夫居於幽暗及死蔭者、導我履平康之路、○

夫夏甲者乃亞拉伯之西乃山、猶今之耶路撒冷也、蓋彼與其諸子為僕、惟在上之耶路撒冷乃自由、我眾之母也、
