So the Lord said to Solomon,“ Since you have done this, and you have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will certainly tear the kingdom away from you, and will give it to your servant.

说：“你既然违背我的命令，不遵守我的约和律例，我必夺走你的国，将它赐给你的一个臣仆。

耶和华对所罗门说：“你既然作了这事，不遵守我吩咐你的约和律例，我必夺去你的国，把国赐给你的一个臣子。

說：「你既然違背我的命令，不遵守我的約和律例，我必奪走你的國，將它賜給你的一個臣僕。

耶和華對所羅門說：“你既然作了這事，不遵守我吩咐你的約和律例，我必奪去你的國，把國賜給你的一個臣子。

故此永恆主對他說：『你既以這事為念，不遵守我的約和律例、就是我所吩咐你守的，那麼我就一定從你手裏撕裂你的國、而賜給你的臣僕。

故耶和華諭之曰、爾既行是、不守我約、及我命爾之典章、我必奪爾國祚、以予爾僕、

故復諭之曰、因爾行是、不守我約、及我所諭之禮儀、我必奪爾國祚、以予爾僕。

故主諭所羅門曰、爾既行是、不守我所命爾之約、及我之律例、我必奪爾國以賜爾僕、

So the Lord said to Solomon,“ Since this is your attitude and you have not kept my covenant and my decrees, which I commanded you, I will most certainly tear the kingdom away from you and give it to one of your subordinates.

So the Lord said to Solomon,“ You have chosen not to keep my covenant. You have decided not to obey my rules. I commanded you to do what I told you. But you did not do it. So you can be absolutely sure I will tear the kingdom away from you. I will give it to one of your officials.

Therefore the Lord said to Solomon,“ Since this has been your practice and you have not kept my covenant and my statutes that I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom from you and will give it to your servant.

So now the Lord said to him,“ Since you have not kept my covenant and have disobeyed my decrees, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to one of your servants.

Then the LORD said to Solomon,“ Since you have done this and did not keep my covenant and my statutes, which I commanded you, I will tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant.

Therefore the Lord said to Solomon,“ Because you have done this, and have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant.

Wherefore Jehovah said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

Then the Lord said to Solomon,“ Since you have done this and did not keep My covenant and My statutes, which I commanded you, I will tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant.

Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

So the LORD said to Solomon,“ Because you insist on doing these things and have not kept the covenantal rules I gave you, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant.

Therefore Yahweh said to Solomon,“ Because this is done by you, and you have not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom from you, and will give it to your servant.

So the king did not listen to the people; because it was a turn of events from the Lord, in order to establish His word which the Lord spoke through Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.When all Israel saw that the king had not listened to them, the people replied to the king, saying,“ What share do we have in David? We have no inheritance in the son of Jesse; To your tents, Israel! Now look after your own house, David!” So Israel went away to their tents.

And he said to Jeroboam,“ Take for yourself ten pieces; for this is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:‘ Behold, I am going to tear the kingdom away from the hand of Solomon and give you ten tribes

And it came about, when all Israel heard that Jeroboam had returned, that they sent word and called him to the assembly, and made him king over all Israel. None except the tribe of Judah alone followed the house of David.

Therefore the Lord God of Israel declares,‘ I did indeed say that your house and the house of your father was to walk before Me forever’; but now the Lord declares,‘ Far be it from Me— for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me will be insignificant.Behold, the days are coming when I will eliminate your strength and the strength of your father’s house, so that there will not be an old man in your house.And you will look at the distress of My dwelling, in spite of all the good that I do for Israel; and there will never be an old man in your house.

I, the Lord, have spoken, I certainly will do this to all this evil congregation who are gathered together against Me. They shall be worn out in this wilderness, and there they shall die.’ ”

Then the Lord said,“ Because this people approaches Me with their words And honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me, And their reverence for Me consists of the commandment of men that is taught;Therefore behold, I will once again deal marvelously with this people, wondrously marvelous; And the wisdom of their wise men will perish, And the understanding of their men who have understanding will be concealed.”

When He had torn Israel from the house of David, they made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king. Then Jeroboam drove Israel away from following the Lord and misled them into a great sin.

But Samuel said to Saul,“ I will not return with you; for you have rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord has rejected you from being king over Israel.”Then Samuel turned to go, but Saul grasped the edge of his robe, and it tore off.So Samuel said to him,“ The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today and has given it to your neighbor, who is better than you.

shall by no means see the land which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who were disrespectful to Me see it.

But Samuel said to Saul,“ You have acted foolishly! You have not kept the commandment of the Lord your God, which He commanded you, for the Lord would now have established your kingdom over Israel forever.But now your kingdom shall not endure. The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has appointed him ruler over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.”

Why have you despised the word of the Lord, by doing evil in His sight? You have struck and killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, you have taken his wife as your wife, and you have slaughtered him with the sword of the sons of Ammon.Now then, the sword shall never leave your house, because you have despised Me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.’This is what the Lord says:‘ Behold, I am going to raise up evil against you from your own household; I will even take your wives before your eyes and give them to your companion, and he will sleep with your wives in broad daylight.Indeed, you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, and in open daylight.’ ”
