我知天主之子臨世、賜我智慧、使我識真者、我儕在真者內、即在天主之子耶穌基督內、此乃真天主、亦為永生、○

吾亦知天主聖子實曾降臨、賜吾澈悟、而認識真主、且吾人已與真實無妄之聖子耶穌基督、結為一體；是真天主、是真永生。

凡靈之認耶穌基督成人身而臨者、乃由上帝、於此可知上帝之神矣、

爾當自慎、亦慎全羣、乃聖神立爾監督於其中、以牧上帝之會、即以己血所購者也、

我又見天開、有白馬焉、乘之者稱為忠信誠實、其鞫其戰、無不義焉、

蓋命光由暗而照之上帝、已照我心、俾知上帝榮之光、即顯於耶穌基督之面者也、○

俾我主耶穌基督之上帝、有榮之父、賜爾明智與啟示之靈、以識上帝、心目克明、俾知爾蒙其召所望何如、彼於諸聖徒之業、其榮之豐富何如、且於我諸信者、其能之浩大何如、乃依其能力運行於基督中、即起之於死、使坐其右於天、

凡信耶穌為基督者、由上帝而生也、凡愛生之者、亦愛其所生者也、

維生之道、太初而有、我儕所聞所見、所瞻視而手捫者、此生顯著、我儕曾見之而為證、且以語爾、即永生也、乃原偕父而顯著於我儕者、夫我以所見所聞者語爾、使爾心交於我儕、我儕亦心交於父、及其子耶穌基督、

自謂恆在主中者、其所行當如彼所行也、○

爾其備具、而陳述之、彼此相議、誰自古示之、誰自昔告之、非我耶和華乎、我外無他上帝、我乃秉公施救之上帝、其外無他、地極之民、其仰望我、以獲拯救、我乃上帝、我外無他、我既指己而誓、我之義命、出而不反、萬膝必向我而跪、萬口必指我而誓、或曰、惟在耶和華、有義有力、人必詣之、凡怒之者、必蒙羞恥、以色列之裔、在於耶和華、將得稱義而誇耀焉、

大聲呼曰、聖且誠之主宰乎、不鞫宅地之人、伸我流血之冤、至幾何時乎、

爾曹自始所聞者、當恆在爾衷、若然、則爾亦恆在子及父中矣、

從未有見上帝者、惟在父懷之獨生子表彰之、○
