既知天主樂於垂聽、則知吾人凡有所求、莫不如願以償也。

And if we know that he hears us— whatever we ask— we know that we have what we asked of him.

If we know that God hears what we ask for, we know that we have it.

And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.

And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.

And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive[ them], and ye shall have[ them].

Shall iron break the northern iron and the steel?Thy substance and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and[ that] for all thy sins, even in all thy borders.
