Here is the command God has given us. Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.

We don’t need to write to you about your love for one another. God himself has taught you to love one another.

Here are some commandments to think about.“ Do not commit adultery.”“ Do not commit murder.”“ Do not steal.”“ Do not want what belongs to others.”( Exodus 20:13–15, 17; Deuteronomy 5:17–19, 21) These and all other commands are included in one command. Here’s what it is.“ Love your neighbor as you love yourself.”( Leviticus 19:18)Love does not harm its neighbor. So love does everything the law requires.

The authority on the law replied,“ The one who felt sorry for him.” Jesus told him,“ Go and do as he did.”

Circumcision and uncircumcision aren’t worth anything to those who believe in Christ Jesus. The only thing that really counts is faith that shows itself through love.

Love must be honest and true. Hate what is evil. Hold on to what is good.Love one another deeply. Honor others more than yourselves.

Here is my command. Love one another, just as I have loved you.

Most of all, love one another deeply. Love erases many sins by forgiving them.

We know that we have left our old dead way of life. And we have entered into new life. We know this because we love one another. Anyone who doesn’t love still lives in their old condition.
