申言之天主實寓基督內、慨然賜世人與之言歸於好、而不復計其舊惡、更簡吾儕專司重歡之道；是則吾儕代表基督、而為天主之星使、不啻天主假吾儕之口而作勸勉焉。因此、吾儕代表基督、剴切求爾、速與天主重歡。夫以毫無罪孽之基督、天主竟使其為吾人之故、成為罪孽、亦欲令吾人因基督之功、而成天主之正義云耳。
