We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death.

亲爱的弟兄姊妹，我们应当彼此相爱，因为爱是从上帝来的。凡有爱心的人都是从上帝生的，并且认识上帝。没有爱心的人不认识上帝，因为上帝就是爱。

不仅要有敬虔，还要有爱弟兄姊妹的心；不仅要有爱弟兄姊妹的心，还要有爱众人的心。

其实上帝的命令是：我们要信祂儿子耶稣基督的名，遵照祂的命令彼此相爱。

你们既因顺服真理，洁净了自己的心，能够真诚地爱弟兄姊妹，就当以清洁的心彼此切实相爱。

你们要彼此相爱，像我爱你们一样，这就是我的命令。

因为上帝并非不公义，以致忘记你们为祂所做的工作以及你们过去和现在服侍圣徒所表现的爱心。愿你们各人从始至终表现出同样的殷勤，以便对所盼望的有完全的把握。

人偏离明智之道，终必与阴魂为伍。

尽管我们死在过犯之中，祂仍然使我们和基督一同活了过来。你们得救是因为上帝的恩典。

世上敬畏你的人极其尊贵，是我所喜爱的。
