此無始無終、向與聖父相俱之生命、曾現身於世。其在世時、吾人既得親炙、爰為作證、而宣之於爾。

The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.

毫无疑问，我们伟大的信仰奥妙无比：祂以肉身显现，被圣灵证明为义，被天使看见，被传扬到列邦，被世人信奉，被接到天上的荣耀中。

一直犯罪的人是属魔鬼的，因为魔鬼从起初便犯罪，但上帝儿子的显现是为了摧毁魔鬼的工作。

你们也要为我做见证，因为你们从开始就与我在一起。

有永生的盼望。这永生是从不说谎的上帝在亘古以前应许的。

“在耶和华造物的起头，在太初万物被造以前，就已经有我。从亘古，从太初，大地还没有形成以前，我已经被立。没有深渊，没有涌流的水泉以前，我已经诞生。大山未曾奠定，小丘未曾形成，我已经出生。那时耶和华还没有造大地和原野，还没有造一粒尘土。祂铺设诸天的时候，我已在场。祂在深渊上画出地平线，上使穹苍坚固，下使深渊的泉源安稳，设定沧海的界限，使海水不得越过祂定的范围，为大地奠定根基的时候，我就在祂身旁，做祂的工程师，天天成为祂的喜乐，终日在祂面前欢悦，

耶稣说：“我就是道路、真理、生命，若不借着我，没有人能到父那里。

太初，道已经存在，道与上帝同在，道就是上帝。太初，道就与上帝同在。

你们杀了生命之主，上帝却使祂从死里复活了。我们都是这事的见证人。

如今借着我们救主基督耶稣的降世显明了出来。基督已经消灭了死亡，借着福音将不朽的生命彰显了出来。

我从父那里来到这个世界，现在我要离开这个世界回到父那里。”

我是基督受苦的见证人，将分享以后所显明的荣耀。我以长老的身份劝你们中间做长老的：

父啊，现在让我和你同享创世以前我们所共有的荣耀吧！

这是耶稣从死里复活后第三次向门徒显现。

除了从天上降下来的人子以外，没有人到过天上。

上帝已经使这位耶稣复活了！我们都是这件事的见证人。

不是向所有的人显现，而是向被上帝预先拣选为祂做见证的人显现，就是我们这些在祂复活以后与祂一同吃喝过的人。

我所说的，是我从父那里看到的，你们却照着你们父的话去做。”
