元始生命之道、余耳聞之、目擊之、手捫之、

太初所有生命之道、道或作言下同我儕所聞、親目所睹、我儕所觀、親手所捫者、

吾人所言者、乃元始生命之道、而亦吾人所曾耳濡目染、躬自瞻仰、親受撫摩者也。

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched— this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.

Here is what we announce to everyone about the Word of life. The Word was already here from the beginning. We have heard him. We have seen him with our eyes. We have looked at him. Our hands have touched him.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life—

We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life.

謂多馬曰、伸爾指、視我手、伸爾手、探我脇、勿疑、宜信也、

父遣子為救世者、此我儕所見而證者也、

視我手足、即我也、試捫且視、神無骨肉、爾視我則有之、

我儕以我主耶穌基督之能、與其降臨示爾、非從巧飾虛詞、乃曾目擊其大威、蓋彼由父上帝得尊榮時、有聲自大榮臨之、曰、此我愛子、我所欣悅者、此自天之聲、我儕偕彼於聖山時聞之、

我見之而仆其足前如死、彼以右手撫我曰、勿懼、始者、終者、生者、我也、我曾死、今則生、至於世世、且有死亡陰府之鑰、

當書達士每拿會之使者云、為始為終、既死而生者曰、

其受害後、於使徒前、以多據顯己為生、歷四旬、且言上帝國之事、

衣以灑血之衣、其名稱為上帝道、

證之者聖神也、聖神即真理也、

伯利恆以法他乎、爾在猶大郡中為小、然將有一人自爾而出、為君於以色列、其原由於亙古、本於太初、

父老乎、我書予爾、以爾識自始而有者、少者乎、我書予爾、以爾已勝惡者、孺子乎、我曾書予爾、以爾識父、父老乎、我曾書予爾、以爾識自始而有者、少者乎、我曾書予爾、以爾剛健、且上帝之道、恆在爾中、而爾已勝惡者、

誰為之、誰成之、誰自元始命定萬代、我耶和華也、始我也、終亦我也、

耶和華造我、在其經營之始、古昔造化之先、自永古、自元始、於地未有之先、我已被建、未有深淵、未有湧泉、我已生焉、山嶽未奠、岡陵未有、大地田野、世之土壤、尚未締造、我已在焉、上帝建立諸天、使穹蒼環海面、我已在焉、上堅霄漢、下固淵泉、定海之界、使水不違其命、建立大地之基、斯時也、我與之俱、為其工師、日為所悅、恆懽忭於其前、且懽忭於塵寰、樂與世人相偕、○

爾所見者當筆之於書、寄於七會、即以弗所、士每拿、別迦摩、推雅推喇、撒狄、非拉鐵非、老底嘉、

見者證之、其證也真、自知其言真、俾爾亦信也、
