To the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain those who are under the law;

於猶太人我如猶太人、以得猶太人、於律法下者我如律法下、以得律法下者、

故於猶太人、吾亦儼然以猶太人自居、所以感化猶太人也。於法內之人、吾亦儼然以法內之人自居、所以感化法內之人也；實則其法無與於我耳。

To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law( though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law.

To the Jews I became like a Jew. That was to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one who was under the law. I did this even though I myself am not under the law. That was to win those under the law.

To the Jews I became as a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law I became as one under the law( though not being myself under the law) that I might win those under the law.

When I was with the Jews, I lived like a Jew to bring the Jews to Christ. When I was with those who follow the Jewish law, I too lived under that law. Even though I am not subject to the law, I did this so I could bring to Christ those who are under the law.

To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win Jews; to those under the law, like one under the law— though I myself am not under the law— to win those under the law.

Paul wanted to have him go out with him, and he took and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those parts; for they all knew that his father was a Greek.

But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

They, when they heard it, glorified God. They said to him,“ You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed, and they are all zealous for the law.They have been informed about you, that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children and not to walk after the customs.What then? The assembly must certainly meet, for they will hear that you have come.Therefore do what we tell you. We have four men who have taken a vow.Take them and purify yourself with them, and pay their expenses for them, that they may shave their heads. Then all will know that there is no truth in the things that they have been informed about you, but that you yourself also walk keeping the law.But concerning the Gentiles who believe, we have written our decision that they should observe no such thing, except that they should keep themselves from food offered to idols, from blood, from strangled things, and from sexual immorality.”Then Paul took the men, and the next day purified himself and went with them into the temple, declaring the fulfillment of the days of purification, until the offering was offered for every one of them.

if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh, and may save some of them.

Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.

that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of children.

For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace.What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? May it never be!

Paul, having stayed after this many more days, took his leave of the brothers, and sailed from there for Syria, together with Priscilla and Aquila. He shaved his head in Cenchreae, for he had a vow.

Tell me, you that desire to be under the law, don’t you listen to the law?

Paul, as was his custom, went in to them, and for three Sabbath days reasoned with them from the Scriptures,explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying,“ This Jesus, whom I proclaim to you, is the Christ.”
