For though I was free from all, I brought myself under bondage to all, that I might gain the more.

夫吾乃自由之人、眾人不得而奴焉；顧甘自為眾人之奴者何也、亦欲感化眾人、使最大多數棄邪歸正而已矣。

Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.

I am free and don’t belong to anyone. But I have made myself a slave to everyone. I do it to win as many as I can to Christ.

For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them.

“ If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.

It shall not be so among you, but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant.Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant,even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.

Brothers, if any among you wanders from the truth and someone turns him back,let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.

To the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain those who are under the law;to those who are without law, as without law( not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law.To the weak I became as weak, that I might gain the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I may by all means save some.

Therefore I endure all things for the chosen ones’ sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word,

even as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of the many, that they may be saved.

If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.For I have given you an example, that you should also do as I have done to you.

Pay attention to yourself and to your teaching. Continue in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

For we don’t preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake,

I am debtor both to Greeks and to foreigners, both to the wise and to the foolish.

Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Haven’t I seen Jesus Christ, our Lord? Aren’t you my work in the Lord?

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life. He who is wise wins souls.

Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?

if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh, and may save some of them.
