With regard then to eating food sacrificed to idols, we know that“ an idol in this world is nothing,” and that“ there is no God but one.”

one Lord, one faith, one baptism,one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

for all things in heaven and on earth were created by him– all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers– all things were created through him and for him.He himself is before all things and all things are held together in him.

For in him we live and move about and exist, as even some of your own poets have said,‘ For we too are his offspring.’

Do we not all have one father? Did not one God create us? Why do we betray one another, in this way making light of the covenant of our ancestors?

You will know at that time that I am in my Father and you are in me and I am in you.

Listen, Israel: The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!

You call me‘ Teacher’ and‘ Lord,’ and do so correctly, for that is what I am.

As a result God exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name,so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow– in heaven and on earth and under the earth–and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus replied,“ Do not touch me, for I have not yet ascended to my Father. Go to my brothers and tell them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

For there is one God and one intermediary between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, himself human,who gave himself as a ransom for all, revealing God’s purpose at his appointed time.

Therefore let all the house of Israel know beyond a doubt that God has made this Jesus whom you crucified both Lord and Christ.”

Then Jesus came up and said to them,“ All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me.The glory you gave to me I have given to them, that they may be one just as we are one–I in them and you in me– that they may be completely one, so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me.

All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides to reveal him.

The Father and I are one.”

He said to them,“ I am a Hebrew! And I worship the LORD, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.”

that has come to you. Just as in the entire world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, so it has also been bearing fruit and growing among you from the first day you heard it and understood the grace of God in truth.

This power he exercised in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realmsfar above every rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.And God put all things under Christ’s feet, and he gave him to the church as head over all things.Now the church is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

Now this is eternal life– that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you sent.

Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ.

God exalted him to his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

Jesus replied,“ Have I been with you for so long, and you have not known me, Philip? The person who has seen me has seen the Father! How can you say,‘ Show us the Father’?Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you, I do not speak on my own initiative, but the Father residing in me performs his miraculous deeds.

For this reason I kneel before the Father,

Through him you now trust in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

“ Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, but God will do away with both.” The body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

So I want you to understand that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says,“ Jesus is cursed,” and no one can say,“ Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

For the Father loves the Son and shows him everything he does, and will show him greater deeds than these, so that you will be amazed.For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whomever he wishes.Furthermore, the Father does not judge anyone, but has assigned all judgment to the Son,so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.“ I tell you the solemn truth, the one who hears my message and believes the one who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, but has crossed over from death to life.I tell you the solemn truth, a time is coming– and is now here– when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For just as the Father has life in himself, thus he has granted the Son to have life in himself,and he has granted the Son authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.“ Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voiceand will come out– the ones who have done what is good to the resurrection resulting in life, and the ones who have done what is evil to the resurrection resulting in condemnation.

and the one who lives! I was dead, but look, now I am alive– forever and ever– and I hold the keys of death and of Hades!

according to the foreknowledge of God the Father by being set apart by the Spirit for obedience and for sprinkling with Jesus Christ’s blood. May grace and peace be yours in full measure!Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

to the church of God that is in Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, and called to be saints, with all those in every place who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours.
