不要和非信徒同负一轭，因为公义和不法怎能合作呢？光明和黑暗怎能共存呢？基督与魔鬼怎能相容呢？信徒与非信徒有什么相干呢？上帝的殿与偶像怎能相提并论呢？因为我们就是永活上帝的殿，正如上帝说：“我要住在他们中间，在他们当中往来；我要做他们的上帝，他们要做我的子民。”

倘若不信的一方坚持要离开的话，就让他离开好了。无论是弟兄或姊妹遇到这样的事情都不必勉强。上帝呼召我们，原是要我们和睦相处。

我也吩咐那些已婚的人，其实不是我吩咐，而是主吩咐：妻子不可离开丈夫，

犹大人不忠贞，在以色列和耶路撒冷做了可憎的事，他们娶信奉外邦神明的女子为妻，亵渎了耶和华所爱的圣所。

上帝的儿子们看见人的女儿漂亮，就随意选来做妻子。

不可与他们通婚，不可让你们的儿女与他们的儿女通婚，因为他们会让你们的儿女离弃耶和华去拜其他神明，以致耶和华向你们发怒，迅速毁灭你们。
