這樣他就分心了。未婚女子和童貞女子掛慮主的事，以致身體和心靈都得以聖潔；而結了婚的婦女掛慮世界的事，是要怎樣討丈夫的喜悅。

婦與處女亦有別、無夫者慮主之事、欲身與靈皆聖、有夫者慮世之事、如何悅夫、

婦固與處子異、無夫者慮主之事、欲其體其神成聖、有夫者慮世之事、如何悅夫、

婦與童女有別、無夫者慮主之事、欲其身與神皆成聖、有夫者慮世之事、如何悅夫、

無夫者及處女、亦能專心事主、惟求神形之聖潔，有夫者則注意世故、兼欲取悅於夫矣。

and his interests are divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord’s affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world— how she can please her husband.

His concerns pull him in two directions. A single woman or a virgin is concerned about the Lord’s matters. She wants to serve the Lord with both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the matters of this world. She wants to know how she can please her husband.

and his interests are divided. And the unmarried or betrothed woman is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to be holy in body and spirit. But the married woman is anxious about worldly things, how to please her husband.

His interests are divided. In the same way, a woman who is no longer married or has never been married can be devoted to the Lord and holy in body and in spirit. But a married woman has to think about her earthly responsibilities and how to please her husband.

马大伺候的事多，心里忙乱，进前来，说：“主啊，我的妹妹留下我一个人伺候，你不在意吗？请吩咐她来帮助我。”主回答说：“马大，马大，你为许多的事操心烦恼，但是不可少的只有一件。马利亚已经选择了那上好的福分，是没有人能从她夺去的。”

这就是我所切慕、所盼望的：没有一事能使我羞愧；反倒凡事坦然无惧，无论是生是死，总要让基督在我身上照常显大。

又有位女先知，名叫亚拿，是亚设支派法内力的女儿，年纪已经老迈，从童女出嫁，同丈夫住了七年，就寡居了，现在已经八十四岁。她不离开圣殿，禁食祈求，昼夜事奉上帝。

所以，弟兄们，我以上帝的慈悲劝你们，将身体献上当作活祭，是圣洁的，是上帝所喜悦的，你们如此事奉乃是理所当然的。不要效法这个世界，只要心意更新而变化，叫你们察验何为上帝的善良、纯全、可喜悦的旨意。

除了这些外表的事以外，我还有为众教会操心的事天天压在我身上。

因为你们是重价买来的。所以，要在你们的身体上荣耀上帝。

你看，你们依着上帝的意思而忧愁，这在你们当中产生了何等的殷勤、甚至辩白、甚至愤慨、甚至恐惧、甚至渴望、甚至热忱、甚至责罚。在这一切事上，你们都表明自己是无可指责的。所以，虽然我从前写信给你们，却不是为那亏负人的，也不是为那受人亏负的，而是要在上帝面前把你们顾念我们的热忱表现出来。

愿赐平安的上帝亲自使你们完全成圣！愿你们的灵、魂、体得蒙保守，在我们的主耶稣基督来临的时候，完全无可指责。

这话是可信的。我愿你坚持这些事，使那些已信上帝的人留心行善。这都是美好且对人有益的。

人若不知道管理自己的家，怎能照管上帝的教会呢？

也不要把你们的肢体献给罪作不义的工具，倒要像从死人中活着的人，把自己献给上帝，并把你们的肢体献给上帝作义的工具。

感谢上帝，把我对你们的热忱同样放在提多心里。
