這些事完成以後，眾領袖來接近我，說：「以色列百姓、祭司和利未人沒有棄絕迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亞捫人、摩押人、埃及人和亞摩利人等列邦民族所行可憎的事。因他們為自己和兒子娶了這些外邦女子，以致聖潔的種子和列邦民族混雜，而且領袖和官長在這事上是罪魁。」

你們豈不知道你們的身體是基督的肢體嗎？我可以把基督的肢體作為娼妓的肢體嗎？絕對不可！你們豈不知道與娼妓苟合的，就是與她成為一體嗎？因為主說：「二人要成為一體。」但與主聯合的，就是與主成為一靈。

錫安哪，興起！興起！穿上你的能力！聖城耶路撒冷啊，穿上你華美的衣服！因為從今以後，未受割禮、不潔淨的必不再進入你中間。

所獻的新麵若聖潔，整個麵團都聖潔了；樹根若聖潔，樹枝也聖潔了。

都因神的話和人的祈禱而成為聖潔了。

彼得就請他們進去住宿。次日，他起身和他們同去，還有約帕的幾個弟兄跟他一起去。
