knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine,

If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.

neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.

nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.

For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles— that a man has his father’s wife!

Do not be deceived:“ Evil company corrupts good habits.”

Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.

He who sows iniquity will reap sorrow, And the rod of his anger will fail.

lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright.

Then the King will say to those on His right hand,‘ Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not!Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For“ the two,” He says,“ shall become one flesh.”

And they called to Lot and said to him,“ Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.”

As they were enjoying themselves, suddenly certain men of the city, perverted men, surrounded the house and beat on the door. They spoke to the master of the house, the old man, saying,“ Bring out the man who came to your house, that we may know him carnally!”

“ There shall be no ritual harlot of the daughters of Israel, or a perverted one of the sons of Israel.

‘ You shall do no injustice in judgment, in measurement of length, weight, or volume.You shall have honest scales, honest weights, an honest ephah, and an honest hin: I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.

“ You shall not circulate a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

“ You shall not have in your bag differing weights, a heavy and a light.You shall not have in your house differing measures, a large and a small.You shall have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure, that your days may be lengthened in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.For all who do such things, all who behave unrighteously, are an abomination to the Lord your God.

Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.

“ Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, Who write misfortune, Which they have prescribedTo rob the needy of justice, And to take what is right from the poor of My people, That widows may be their prey, And that they may rob the fatherless.

Then he said to me,“ This is the curse that goes out over the face of the whole earth:‘ Every thief shall be expelled,’ according to this side of the scroll; and,‘ Every perjurer shall be expelled,’ according to that side of it.”

Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?

‘ You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty. In righteousness you shall judge your neighbor.

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.

Dishonest scales are an abomination to the Lord, But a just weight is His delight.

Now as he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and answered,“ Go away for now; when I have a convenient time I will call for you.”
