你们岂不知道你们的身体是圣灵的殿吗？这圣灵是从上帝而来，住在你们里面的。而且你们不是属自己的人，

难道不知你们是上帝的殿，上帝的灵住在你们里面吗？

所以，不要让罪在你们必死的身上掌权，使你们顺从身体的私欲。

难道你们不了解，凡进到口里的，是经过肚子，又排入厕所吗？

因为丈夫是妻子的头，如同基督是教会的头；他又是这身体的救主。

你们岂不知道你们的身体是基督的肢体吗？我可以把基督的肢体作为娼妓的肢体吗？绝对不可！

上帝的旨意就是要你们成为圣洁，远避淫行；要你们各人知道怎样用圣洁、尊贵控制自己的身体，不放纵私欲的邪情，像不认识上帝的外邦人。不准有人在这事上越轨，占他弟兄的便宜；因为这一类的事，主必报应，正如我预先对你们说过，又切切警告过你们的。上帝召我们本不是要我们沾染污秽，而是要我们圣洁。

这些都是根据人的命令和教导，论到这一切都是一经使用就都败坏了。这些规条使人徒有智慧之名，用私意崇拜，自表谦卑，苦待己身，其实在克制肉体的情欲上毫无功效。

因为上帝的国不在乎饮食，而在乎公义、和平及圣灵中的喜乐。

因为不是进入他的心，而是进入他的肚子，又排入厕所。”（这是说，各样的食物都是洁净的。）

不要为那会坏的食物操劳，而要为那存到永生的食物操劳。这食物是人子要赐给你们的，因为父上帝已印证了。”

我们没有一个人为自己而活，也没有一个人为自己而死。我们若活，是为主而活；我们若死，是为主而死。所以，我们或死或活总是主的人。为此，基督死了，又活了，为要作死人和活人的主。

所以，弟兄们，我以上帝的慈悲劝你们，将身体献上当作活祭，是圣洁的，是上帝所喜悦的，你们如此事奉乃是理所当然的。

你们的祖宗在旷野吃过吗哪，还是死了。

我的弟兄们，这样说来，你们藉着基督的身体对律法也是死了，使你们归于另一位，就是归于那从死人中复活的，为要使我们结果子给上帝。

并且他替众人死，是叫那些活着的人不再为自己活，乃为替他们死而复活的主活。

这些才玷污人。至于不洗手吃饭，那并不玷污人。”

并且都吃了一样的灵粮，也都喝了一样的灵水，所喝的是出于跟随着他们的灵磐石；那磐石就是基督。但他们中间多半是上帝不喜欢的人，所以倒毙在旷野里了。

我以上帝嫉妒的爱来爱你们，因为我曾把你们许配给一个丈夫，要把你们如同贞洁的童女献给基督。
