你們中間，當一個與另一個有了問題，怎麼敢告到不義的人面前，而不告到聖徒面前呢？

你们中间有彼此相争的事，怎敢在不义的人面前求审，不在圣徒面前求审呢？

你们中间有彼此争吵的事，怎敢告到不义的人面前，而不告到圣徒面前呢？

你们中间发生了纠纷，不找圣徒审理，竟敢告到不义的人面前吗？

你們中間有人和弟兄起了爭執，怎敢告到不義的人面前，卻不告在聖徒面前呢？

你們中間有人對另一個人有爭訟的事，怎敢在不義的人面前受審判，而不在聖徒面前呢？

爾中或有相爭、敢訟於不義者前、而不於聖徒前乎、

爾與兄弟爭訟、何忍訟於不義者前、而不訟於聖徒前乎、

爾中有相爭之事、何敢訟於不義者前、而不訟於聖徒前乎、

兄弟間如有訟案、理當請聖徒決斷；豈有逕向不義者請求裁判者乎？

If any of you has a dispute with another, do you dare to take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the Lord’s people?

Suppose one of you wants to bring a charge against another believer. Should you take it to ungodly people to be judged? Why not take it to the Lord’s people?

When one of you has a grievance against another, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints?

When one of you has a dispute with another believer, how dare you file a lawsuit and ask a secular court to decide the matter instead of taking it to other believers!

If any of you has a dispute against another, how dare you take it to court before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?

Does any one of you, when he has a case against his neighbor, dare to go to law before the unrighteous and not before the saints?

Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?

Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?

If any of you has a legal dispute against another, do you dare go to court before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?

Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?

When any of you has a legal dispute with another, does he dare go to court before the unrighteous rather than before the saints?

Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?

既然如此，如果迪米特斯和與他一起的工匠們要控告誰，法庭是開著的，省長也在，讓他們彼此控告吧！

保羅剛要開口，伽利奧就對猶太人說：「哦，各位猶太人哪！如果這真是什麼罪行或邪惡的案情，我理當容忍你們。但爭議的問題，如果是關於字句、名稱，和有關你們的律法，你們自己看著辦吧！我不願意做這些事的審判者。」

你們竟然弟兄控告弟兄，而且告到了不信的人面前！所以，你們彼此告狀，對你們已經是一個全然的失敗。你們為什麼不情願受委屈呢？為什麼不情願受虧負呢？

因為神不是混亂的神，而是和平的神。正如在聖徒的各教會那樣，

「如果你的弟兄對你犯了罪，你就要去，只在你和他之間責備他。如果他聽你的，你就贏得了你的弟兄；如果他不聽，你就另外帶一個或兩個人一起去，為要使「任何事，憑兩個或三個見證人的口，才能成立。」如果他不聽他們的，就告訴教會；如果他連教會也不聽，就應當把他看做像外邦人或稅吏一樣。

關於為聖徒收集的事，我從前怎樣吩咐加拉太的各教會，你們也當照樣做：

弟兄們，你們知道司提法納一家人是亞該亞初熟的果子，而且他們獻上了自己去服事聖徒們。我勸你們，

致那在哥林多屬神的教會，就是在基督耶穌裡被分別為聖、蒙召成為聖徒的人，以及所有在各地求告我們主耶穌基督之名的人。基督是他們的主，也是我們的主。
