Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

會耶穌訓徒曰：『爾其慎旃、毋染法利塞人及希祿之酵。』

維時民眾紛集、擁擠不堪、致相蹂踐、耶穌開言、先訓其徒曰：『毋染法利塞之酵、虛偽是也。

時耶穌諭之曰：『慎防法利塞與撒杜責之酵。』

諸徒至是始悟耶穌言宜防者、非指餅酵、乃指法利塞撒杜責之傳習耳。耶穌至斐理比凱撒里

吾為主故、剴切勸爾、毋復行異邦人之所行、意志虛妄、理智昏昧、冥頑不靈、而自絕於天主之生命。蓋若輩良心既泯、宜其縱情恣慾、甘處下流、此固非爾等所學於基督者也。爾等果已得其真傳。受其薰陶、則應痛革前非、棄絕故我、不復沉湎聲色、日趨朽壞。

願凡愛吾主耶穌基督始終不渝者、咸蒙恩寵、源源不絕、心焉祝之。

寧不知為不義者必不得承天主之國乎？幸毋自欺！凡行淫亂、拜偶像、犯奸惡、為孌童、親男色、作盜賊、貪污、沉湎、謗人、勒索之徒、未有能承受天主之國者也。爾中以前亦有屬此類者、今則已賴吾主耶穌基督之名及天主聖神之恩、而洗滌夙穢且受聖而復義矣。

耶穌見納大那來訪、指之曰：『此誠義塞人、心無詭譎者！』

主不見罪。眞心痛悔。樂哉斯人。主恩似海。

人問爾主安在兮。朝暮涕淚漣漣。以涕淚為飲食兮。吾主盍亦垂憐。

思以詭謀曲陷耶穌、而置之於死；惟曰：『毋於節日行之、恐民生變。』

爾等實無誇耀之理由。豈不知些須之酵、能醱全飥乎？

據報爾中竟有奸其繼母者；如此淫亂、即在異邦人中、亦未之前聞。

不復徇人欲、惟循天主聖意、以度餘生。

是宜痛絕一切惡意、欺詐、虛偽忮心、譖謗、當如新生之嬰、一心愛慕純粹乳汁、日漸月漬、涵養心靈、以邀救恩。

平旦、眾曳耶穌出蓋法署、解往督轅、而眾未遽入、恐為所浼而不得食免難羔也。比辣多乃出而問曰：『爾曹控此人何事？』眾應曰：『苟非惡類、必不解之爾前。』

蓋吾深恐爾我相見之時、爾不能副我之望、我亦不能副爾之望；又恐爾中有鬥爭、嫉妒、忿怒、樹黨、誹謗、隱刺、傲慢、紛亂等事；更恐吾來時、天主令我汗顏無地、蓋一見諸犯奸邪淫亂之徒、尚未幡然悔改、吾能不為之號咷大哭乎哉？

蓋吾儕所引以為榮、而問心無疚者、則吾儕立身處世、尤在爾我之間、一秉天主之正直及至誠、不徇私智、惟恃天主聖寵而已。

蓋依然未脫本性也。爾中一日有相妒相爭之事、即一日未克進於超性之境、而脫盡世俗之習。

吾作此言、非命令也、乃欲藉他人之熱情、一測爾等愛德之深淺耳。
