Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch— as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.

Now the passage of the Scripture which he was reading was this,“ He was led as a sheep to the slaughter. As a lamb before his shearer is silent, so he doesn’t open his mouth.In his humiliation, his judgment was taken away. Who will declare His generation? For his life is taken from the earth.”The eunuch answered Philip,“ Who is the prophet talking about? About himself, or about someone else?”Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture, preached to him about Jesus.

Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread.

Your lamb shall be without defect, a male a year old. You shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats.You shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at evening.

He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he didn’t open his mouth. As a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he didn’t open his mouth.He was taken away by oppression and judgment. As for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living and stricken for the disobedience of my people?They made his grave with the wicked, and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.Yet it pleased Yahweh to bruise him. He has caused him to suffer. When you make his soul an offering for sin, he will see his offspring. He will prolong his days and Yahweh’s pleasure will prosper in his hand.

Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.For these things’ sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.You also once walked in those, when you lived in them;but now you also put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth.Don’t lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings,

But those who are outside, God judges.“ Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.”

saying with a loud voice,“ Worthy is the Lamb who has been killed to receive the power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing!”

Now it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, at about the sixth hour. He said to the Jews,“ Behold, your King!”

For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

I saw in the middle of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the middle of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.Then he came, and he took it out of the right hand of him who sat on the throne.Now when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty- four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.They sang a new song, saying,“ You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals: for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood out of every tribe, language, people, and nation,

“‘ Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread; even the first day you shall put away yeast out of your houses, for whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
