喜買乃亞立山即其人也。吾已將此二人、付於沙殫之手、儻亦知懲、不敢再施謗讟歟。

兄弟中如有誤入歧途、而爾能循循規勸、使其回頭、則功莫大焉。當知使一罪人去邪歸正、便是救拔一條靈魂出於死地；爾亦可將功贖罪矣。

吾在與爾相暌之時、書此種切、庶幾與爾相晤時、無庸秉持主所授我之大權、以懲惡徒、而盡吾之職責、則幸甚矣！蓋此大權所以輔人成德、非所以致人傾毀也。

若夫外界人之行為、自有天主為之評騭。惟爾中之為非作惡者務望爾等痛絕之也。

一俟爾曹之順服臻於純熟之境、吾儕即將懲罰一切悖逆抗命之徒矣。

欲汝啟眾民萬邦之目、使自黑暗轉向光明、脫沙殫之掌握而歸依天主、俾以信予之故、而獲罪赦、與一切因信成聖者同嗣洪基。」

彼所受於爾眾之責、亦已備矣。爾等亟應強恕之、安慰之；不然、彼或將因過於憂戚而從此沉淪、不能自振也。

然今之受罪、即主之所以鍛鍊吾人、以免與世同科耳。

對於不信之人、可矜者矜之、為釋其疑；可救者救之、猶如搶物於火；其他則哀矜而加以戒懼、避之若浼；即其身體所玷污之衣裳、亦宜深惡而痛絕之也。

天主亦必賜爾等堅守信德、始終不渝；庶幾爾等於耶穌基督重臨之日、聖德全備、無懈可擊。

爾見兄弟犯罪、情跡較輕尚不致死者、亟宜為之代求、主必賜以生命。若其所犯為致死之罪、則吾亦不強爾為之代求。

翼翼事主、以速主日之臨、蓋正惟諸天焚化、物質消溶、

願彼昧良者。自身遇健敵。黃雀逐螳螂。循環相磨折。

主既以善工導爾於初、亦必有以成爾於終、以迨耶穌基督之日；

吾願其在大審判日、蒙主慈恩。曩在伊法所時、吾如何承其多方照拂固汝所素稔也。
