今爾等已饜足矣、爾等已富裕矣、駸駸乎將捨吾儕而獨立稱王矣。然吾固願爾等之真能為王、而使我輩亦得彈冠相慶、揚眉吐氣也！

Already you have all you want! Already you have become rich! You have begun to reign— and that without us! How I wish that you really had begun to reign so that we also might reign with you!

You already have everything you want, don’t you? Have you already become rich? Have you already begun to rule? And did you do that without us? I wish that you really had begun to rule. Then we could also rule with you!

Already you have all you want! Already you have become rich! Without us you have become kings! And would that you did reign, so that we might share the rule with you!

You think you already have everything you need. You think you are already rich. You have begun to reign in God’s kingdom without us! I wish you really were reigning already, for then we would be reigning with you.

Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight!

This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him.If we endure, We shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us.

For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.

Oh, that you would bear with me in a little folly— and indeed you do bear with me.

And Paul said,“ I would to God that not only you, but also all who hear me today, might become both almost and altogether such as I am, except for these chains.”

But now that Timothy has come to us from you, and brought us good news of your faith and love, and that you always have good remembrance of us, greatly desiring to see us, as we also to see you—therefore, brethren, in all our affliction and distress we were comforted concerning you by your faith.For now we live, if you stand fast in the Lord.For what thanks can we render to God for you, for all the joy with which we rejoice for your sake before our God,

Then Moses said to him,“ Are you zealous for my sake? Oh, that all the LORD’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!”

Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
