This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit- taught words.

That is what we speak about. We don’t use words taught to us by people. We use words taught to us by the Holy Spirit. We use the words taught by the Spirit to explain spiritual truths.

And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.

When we tell you these things, we do not use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spirit’s words to explain spiritual truths.

蓋基督遣我、非以施洗禮、乃以傳福音、不以智言、免基督之十字架歸於虛、

且我講論宣傳、非以人智之婉言而辯、乃以聖神之大能而證、

當以基督有原文抄本作主之道、充於爾心、智慧具備、相教相勸、以歌章、頌詞、神賦、中心感恩而頌主、

當以歌章、頌詞、神賦、彼此對語、口唱心和、而讚美主、

論及聖神恩賜、又作論及感於聖神者我不欲兄弟不明、爾原為異邦人、昔崇事不能言之偶像、隨人所誘、此爾所知也、故我告爾、未有人感於天主之神、而言耶穌可詛、亦未有人不感於聖神、能稱耶穌為主、○

言方言者、非向人言、乃向天主言、蓋感於聖神言奧妙、而無人會悟、

兄弟乎、我昔就爾傳道、為天主作證、未用高言大智、

我儕既為爾播屬神之道、則獲爾屬身之物、豈為大事乎、

我儕素以我主耶穌基督之大力、及其降臨之事告爾、非從巧飾虛誕、乃目擊其大榮、

先知得默示、知所宣之事非為己、乃為我儕、此事賴自天所遣之聖神而傳福音者已告爾、天使亦願詳察此事焉、○

皆食靈食、皆飲靈飲、所飲者乃自隨之之靈磐所出、此磐即基督、但彼眾多半不為天主所悅、其屍偃仆於野、

因其時聖神必教爾以所當言也、○

眾遂滿於聖神、能言各國方言、隨聖神所賜以言者、
