他要差遣使者，用號筒的大聲，將他的選民，從四方，從天這邊到天那邊，都招聚了來。」

因為主必親自從天降臨，有呼叫的聲音和天使長的聲音，又有神的號吹響；那在基督裏死了的人必先復活。以後我們這活着還存留的人必和他們一同被提到雲裏，在空中與主相遇。這樣，我們就要和主永遠同在。

我實實在在地告訴你們，時候將到，現在就是了，死人要聽見神兒子的聲音，聽見的人就要活了。

你們不要把這事看作希奇。時候要到，凡在墳墓裏的，都要聽見他的聲音，就出來：

當那日，必大發角聲，在亞述地將要滅亡的，並在埃及地被趕散的，都要來，他們就在耶路撒冷聖山上敬拜耶和華。

但主的日子要像賊來到一樣。那日，天必大有響聲廢去，有形質的都要被烈火銷化，地和其上的物都要燒盡了。

死人復活也是這樣：所種的是必朽壞的，復活的是不朽壞的；

我又看見一個鷹飛在空中，並聽見牠大聲說：「三位天使要吹那其餘的號。你們住在地上的民，禍哉！禍哉！禍哉！」

第六位天使吹號，我就聽見有聲音從神面前金壇的四角出來，吩咐那吹號的第六位天使，說：「把那捆綁在幼發拉底大河的四個使者釋放了。」

耶和華必顯現在他們以上；他的箭必射出像閃電。主耶和華必吹角，乘南方的旋風而行。

我看見那站在神面前的七位天使，有七枝號賜給他們。

世上一切的居民和地上所住的人哪，山上豎立大旗的時候你們要看；吹角的時候你們要聽。

他們轉眼之間成了何等的荒涼！他們被驚恐滅盡了。

弟兄們，我告訴你們說，血肉之體不能承受神的國，必朽壞的不能承受不朽壞的。

到了第三天早晨，在山上有雷轟、閃電，和密雲，並且角聲甚大，營中的百姓盡都發顫。

他見刀劍臨到那地，若吹角警戒眾民，

眾百姓見雷轟、閃電、角聲、山上冒煙，就都發顫，遠遠地站立，

耶和華對摩西說：「你告訴以色列人說：『耶和華說：你們是硬着頸項的百姓，我若一霎時臨到你們中間，必滅絕你們。現在你們要把身上的妝飾摘下來，使我可以知道怎樣待你們。』」

若單吹一枝，眾首領，就是以色列軍中的統領，要聚集到你那裏。

「你們離開這會眾，我好在轉眼之間把他們滅絕。」他們二人就俯伏於地。

倘若守望的人見刀劍臨到，不吹角，以致民不受警戒，刀劍來殺了他們中間的一個人，他雖然死在罪孽之中，我卻要向守望的人討他喪命的罪。

「你們離開這會眾，我好在轉眼之間把他們滅絕。」
