這樣，我們就被看做是神的假見證人，因為我們見證了有關神的事，說神使基督復活了，如果死人真不會復活，神就沒有使基督復活；

死者不起、則上帝未嘗起基督、而我證其起之、適為妄證於上帝、

死者不甦、則上帝未甦基督、而吾證上帝甦之、則為妄證、

若死者不復活、則天主未使基督復活、而我儕證天主曾使之復活、是我儕為天主妄證矣、

不寧惟是、吾人將為天主之偽證矣。蓋死者苟無復活、則天主實未復活基督、而吾人強為之證曰、天主已復活之矣、是非偽證而何。

And we apostles would all be lying about God— for we have said that God raised Christ from the grave. But that can’t be true if there is no resurrection of the dead.

Moreover, we are found to be false witnesses about God, because we have testified wrongly about God that he raised up Christ— whom he did not raise up, if in fact the dead are not raised.

神卻將死的痛苦解釋了，叫他復活，因為他原不能被死拘禁。

若沒有死人復活的事，基督也就沒有復活了。

你們要為神說不義的話嗎？為他說詭詐的言語嗎？你們要為神徇情嗎？要為他爭論嗎？他查出你們來，這豈是好嗎？人欺哄人，你們也要照樣欺哄他嗎？你們若暗中徇情，他必要責備你們。

又對猶太人和希臘人證明當向神悔改，信靠我主耶穌基督。

這耶穌，神已經叫他復活了，我們都為這事作見證。

也不可在爭訟的事上偏護窮人。

他在猶太人之地，並耶路撒冷所行的一切事，有我們作見證。他們竟把他掛在木頭上殺了。第三日，神叫他復活，顯現出來；不是顯現給眾人看，乃是顯現給神預先所揀選為他作見證的人看，就是我們這些在他從死裏復活以後和他同吃同喝的人。他吩咐我們傳道給眾人，證明他是神所立定的，要作審判活人、死人的主。

你們眾人和以色列百姓都當知道，站在你們面前的這人得痊癒是因你們所釘十字架、神叫他從死裏復活的拿撒勒人耶穌基督的名。

神卻叫他從死裏復活。那從加利利同他上耶路撒冷的人多日看見他，這些人如今在民間是他的見證。我們也報好信息給你們，就是那應許祖宗的話，神已經向我們這作兒女的應驗，叫耶穌復活了。正如詩篇第二篇上記着說：你是我的兒子，我今日生你。

使徒大有能力，見證主耶穌復活；眾人也都蒙大恩。

若神的真實，因我的虛謊越發顯出他的榮耀，為甚麼我還受審判，好像罪人呢？為甚麼不說，我們可以作惡以成善呢？這是毀謗我們的人說我們有這話。這等人定罪是該當的。

但基督已經從死裏復活，成為睡了之人初熟的果子。
