Now I want to make clear for you, brothers and sisters, the gospel that I preached to you, that you received and on which you stand,

弟兄們，我要你們明白我先前所傳給你們的福音；你們也領受了這福音，並且在這福音上站立得住。

Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand.

Brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the good news I preached to you. You received it and have put your faith in it.

Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand,

Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it.

Now I make known to you, brothers and sisters, the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand,

Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand,

Now I make known unto you brethren, the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye received, wherein also ye stand,

Now brothers, I want to clarify for you the gospel I proclaimed to you; you received it and have taken your stand on it.

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand,

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are following a different gospel–not that there really is another gospel, but there are some who are disturbing you and wanting to distort the gospel of Christ.But even if we( or an angel from heaven) should preach a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be condemned to hell!As we have said before, and now I say again, if any one is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, let him be condemned to hell!Am I now trying to gain the approval of people, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a slave of Christ!Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin.For I did not receive it or learn it from any human source; instead I received it by a revelation of Jesus Christ.

For I passed on to you as of first importance what I also received– that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures,and that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according to the scriptures,and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.Then he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.Last of all, as though to one born at the wrong time, he appeared to me also.For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me has not been in vain. In fact, I worked harder than all of them– yet not I, but the grace of God with me.Whether then it was I or they, this is the way we preach and this is the way you believed.

Through Silvanus, whom I know to be a faithful brother, I have written to you briefly, in order to encourage you and testify that this is the true grace of God. Stand fast in it.

through whom we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of God’s glory.

on the day when God will judge the secrets of human hearts, according to my gospel through Christ Jesus.

He addressed both Jews and Greeks in the synagogue every Sabbath, attempting to persuade them.Now when Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia, Paul became wholly absorbed with proclaiming the word, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ.

I do not mean that we rule over your faith, but we are workers with you for your joy, because by faith you stand firm.

Now the apostles and the brothers who were throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles too had accepted the word of God.

These are the ones sown on rocky ground: As soon as they hear the word, they receive it with joy.But they have no root in themselves and do not endure. Then, when trouble or persecution comes because of the word, immediately they fall away.Others are the ones sown among thorns: They are those who hear the word,but worldly cares, the seductiveness of wealth, and the desire for other things come in and choke the word, and it produces nothing.But these are the ones sown on good soil: They hear the word and receive it and bear fruit, one thirty times as much, one sixty, and one a hundred.”

So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand people were added.

And so we too constantly thank God that when you received God’s message that you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human message, but as it truly is, God’s message, which is at work among you who believe.

Finally then, brothers and sisters, we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received instruction from us about how you must live and please God( as you are in fact living) that you do so more and more.

But we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from any brother who lives an undisciplined life and not according to the tradition they received from us.

The one who rejects me and does not accept my words has a judge; the word I have spoken will judge him at the last day.

And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, when you received the message with joy that comes from the Holy Spirit, despite great affliction.

For I decided to be concerned about nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.And I was with you in weakness and in fear and with much trembling.My conversation and my preaching were not with persuasive words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of the Spirit and of power,so that your faith would not be based on human wisdom but on the power of God.Now we do speak wisdom among the mature, but not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are perishing.Instead we speak the wisdom of God, hidden in a mystery, that God determined before the ages for our glory.

I always thank my God for you because of the grace of God that was given to you in Christ Jesus.For you were made rich in every way in him, in all your speech and in every kind of knowledge–just as the testimony about Christ has been confirmed among you–so that you do not lack any spiritual gift as you wait for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.He will also strengthen you to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

but we preach about a crucified Christ, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles.But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.

I planted, Apollos watered, but God caused it to grow.
