倘有人自以為先知、或富於靈賦、則應知吾茲所書者、乃為主之命令也。

If anyone thinks they are a prophet or otherwise gifted by the Spirit, let them acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command.

Suppose anyone thinks they are a prophet. Or suppose they think they have other gifts given by the Holy Spirit. They should agree that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command.

If anyone thinks that he is a prophet, or spiritual, he should acknowledge that the things I am writing to you are a command of the Lord.

If you claim to be a prophet or think you are spiritual, you should recognize that what I am saying is a command from the Lord himself.

凡播種於慾田者、必於慾田穫朽腐之果；而播種於靈田者、則於靈田穫常生之果。

對於童貞者、吾未承主諭、惟吾既飽受主恩、自當忠實相告。

吾憑所受聖寵、勸爾人人、切弗自估過高、務須各依天主所賦之信德平心自衡。

使我無愛德、而徒能操萬國之音、作天神之語、則猶鳴鑼擊鈸而已矣。使我無愛德、而具先知之靈賦、心通一切玄妙、一切知識、甚至有移山之信、則亦浮華無實耳。使我無愛德、雖罄輸所有、以濟貧寒、甚至捨身以投諸火、亦何益之有。

顧吾之所以為此、且願守此不渝者、不欲予人以口實、而謂若輩之所誇亦同乎吾儕之所誇耳。若輩偽宗徒冒基督宗徒之名、而行其欺詐之實。然此不足為奇；即沙殫亦嘗冒充光明之天神、則其僕之冒充正義之僕、不亦宜乎！惟若輩必依其所作之孽、而受報應也。

人若自以為有知、是誠昧於求知之道；

俾能恆懷古聖先知之預言、及宗徒所授救主之明誡耳。

吾儕不敢與一般自衒自媒者、較一日之短長、惟任若輩自相較量；實則皆淺識絀見耳。

設若有人、向爾等宣佈另一基督、而非吾儕所宣佈之基督；另一聖神、而非爾等所接受之聖神；或另一福音、而非爾等所夙聞之福音；爾等亦能容納也！

兄弟乎、曩者吾儕示爾應如何立身處世、以慰悅天主；爾已拳拳服膺。茲復因主耶穌、奉勸兄弟、發憤加勉、勇猛精進。吾儕承主耶穌之命、所授於爾之規箴、爾固知之。蓋天主之意旨無他、欲爾成聖而已。是宜戒絕一切邪淫、各宜自愛、守身如玉、切勿縱情恣慾、如異邦不識天主者所為也、凡因縱情、而侵害兄弟、欺負兄弟、皆天主所不容、報應孔邇；此點吾儕前已鄭重言之。蓋天主之召吾人、非欲吾人淪於邪污、乃欲吾人進於聖潔。故凡倒行逆施者、非逆於人、乃逆於賜爾聖神之天主也。

愛友乎、爾當猶憶吾主耶穌基督之諸宗徒告爾之言也。
