Otherwise, if you are praising God with your spirit, how can someone without the gift say“ Amen” to your thanksgiving, since he does not know what you are saying?

否則，如果你用靈祝謝，在場的那些不明白的人，既然不知道你在說什麼，怎麼能在你感謝的時候說「阿們」呢？

否則、爾以心祝謝、蚩氓既不知云何、焉能依爾所謝而言阿們乎、

若第以心祝謝、則蚩氓見之、不知云何、焉能和以心所願乎、

如爾以神祝謝、則彼無識者、既不知爾何言、焉能於爾祝謝之時、應聲曰阿們乎、

不然、爾若僅用心魂祝頌、則在無術者將莫明爾之所云、又何以應爾之稱謝而曰『心焉祝之』乎？

Otherwise when you are praising God in the Spirit, how can someone else, who is now put in the position of an inquirer, say“ Amen” to your thanksgiving, since they do not know what you are saying?

Suppose you are praising God in the Spirit. And suppose there are visitors among you who want to know what’s going on. How can they say“ Amen” when you give thanks? They don’t know what you are saying.

Otherwise, if you give thanks with your spirit, how can anyone in the position of an outsider say“ Amen” to your thanksgiving when he does not know what you are saying?

For if you praise God only in the spirit, how can those who don’t understand you praise God along with you? How can they join you in giving thanks when they don’t understand what you are saying?

Otherwise, if you praise with the spirit, how will the outsider say“ Amen” at your giving of thanks, since he does not know what you are saying?

For otherwise, if you bless God in the spirit only, how will the one who occupies the place of the outsider know to say the“ Amen” at your giving of thanks, since he does not understand what you are saying?

Otherwise, if you bless with the spirit, how will he who occupies the place of the uninformed say“ Amen” at your giving of thanks, since he does not understand what you say?

Else if thou bless with the spirit, how shall he that filleth the place of the unlearned say the Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he knoweth not what thou sayest?

Otherwise, if you praise with the spirit, how will the uninformed person say“ Amen” at your giving of thanks, since he does not know what you are saying?

Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?

Otherwise if you bless with the spirit, how will he who fills the place of the unlearned say the“ Amen” at your giving of thanks, seeing he doesn’t know what you say?

The LORD God of Israel deserves praise, in the future and forevermore. Let all the people say,“ We agree! Praise the LORD!”

And the four living creatures were saying“ Amen,” and the elders threw themselves to the ground and worshiped.

May the LORD God of Israel be praised, in the future and forevermore. Then all the people said,“ We agree! Praise the LORD!”

and after he had given thanks he broke it and said,“ This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

‘ Cursed is the one who makes a carved or metal image– something abhorrent to the LORD, the work of the craftsman– and sets it up in a secret place.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who disrespects his father and mother.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who moves his neighbor’s boundary marker.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who misleads a blind person on the road.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who perverts justice for the resident foreigner, the orphan, and the widow.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who has sexual relations with his father’s former wife, for he dishonors his father.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who commits bestiality.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who has sexual relations with his sister, the daughter of either his father or mother.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who has sexual relations with his mother-in-law.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who kills his neighbor in private.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who takes a bribe to kill an innocent person.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who refuses to keep the words of this law.’ Then all the people will say,‘ Amen!’

and this water that causes the curse will go into your stomach, and make your abdomen swell and your thigh rot.” Then the woman must say,“ Amen, amen.”

Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God, and all the people replied“ Amen! Amen!” as they lifted their hands. Then they bowed down and worshiped the LORD with their faces to the ground.

saying,“ Amen! Praise and glory, and wisdom and thanksgiving, and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”

Benaiah son of Jehoiada responded to the king:“ So be it! May the LORD God of my master the king confirm it!

His glorious name deserves praise forevermore! May his majestic splendor fill the whole earth! We agree! We agree!

I always thank my God for you because of the grace of God that was given to you in Christ Jesus.For you were made rich in every way in him, in all your speech and in every kind of knowledge–just as the testimony about Christ has been confirmed among you–so that you do not lack any spiritual gift as you wait for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.He will also strengthen you to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The LORD deserves praise forevermore! We agree! We agree!

To you this entire prophetic revelation is like words in a sealed scroll. When they hand it to one who can read and say,“ Read this,” he responds,“ I can’t, because it is sealed.”Or when they hand the scroll to one who can’t read and say,“ Read this,” he says,“ I can’t read.”

They went out and proclaimed everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through the accompanying signs.]]

Then I will keep the promise I swore on oath to your ancestors to give them a land flowing with milk and honey.” That is the very land that you still live in today.’” And I responded,“ Amen! Let it be so, LORD!”

For the one speaking in a tongue does not speak to people but to God, for no one understands; he is speaking mysteries by the Spirit.

teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

If I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unproductive.

Then the Jewish leaders were astonished and said,“ How does this man know so much when he has never had formal instruction?”

When they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and discovered that they were uneducated and ordinary men, they were amazed and recognized these men had been with Jesus.

So if the whole church comes together and all speak in tongues, and unbelievers or uninformed people enter, will they not say that you have lost your minds?But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or uninformed person enters, he will be convicted by all, he will be called to account by all.

The one who testifies to these things says,“ Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!

I also shook out my garment, and I said,“ In this way may God shake out from his house and his property every person who does not carry out this matter. In this way may he be shaken out and emptied!” All the assembly replied,“ So be it!” and they praised the LORD. Then the people did as they had promised.

The LORD God of Israel deserves praise in the future and forevermore! We agree! We agree!

There are many other things that Jesus did. If every one of them were written down, I suppose the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
