And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

雖能預言、洞悉諸奧諸智、且篤信足以移山、若無愛、則我為烏有、

雖能先知、探奧、識理、且篤信得以移山、而無仁、則無益、

雖有先知之明、能探諸奧妙、得諸知識、信德俱備、能以移山、若無愛、則無益、

使我無愛德、而具先知之靈賦、心通一切玄妙、一切知識、甚至有移山之信、則亦浮華無實耳。

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

Suppose I have the gift of prophecy. Suppose I can understand all the secret things of God and know everything about him. And suppose I have enough faith to move mountains. If I don’t have love, I am nothing at all.

And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.

If I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so that I can move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing.

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

So Jesus said to them,“ Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain,‘ Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

So Jesus answered and said to them,“ Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain,‘ Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. O Lord, come!

by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ),

and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

If someone says,“ I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it,“ Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away.

Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.

Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began

For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.

the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints.

He answered and said to them,“ Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.

Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters.

And the apostles said to the Lord,“ Increase our faith.”So the Lord said,“ If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree,‘ Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you unless I speak to you either by revelation, by knowledge, by prophesying, or by teaching?Even things without life, whether flute or harp, when they make a sound, unless they make a distinction in the sounds, how will it be known what is piped or played?For if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare for battle?So likewise you, unless you utter by the tongue words easy to understand, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will be speaking into the air.

So Jesus answered and said to them,“ Have faith in God.For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain,‘ Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one.

Many will say to Me in that day,‘ Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’And then I will declare to them,‘ I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

So he took up his oracle and said:“ The utterance of Balaam the son of Beor, And the utterance of the man whose eyes are opened;The utterance of him who hears the words of God, And has the knowledge of the Most High, Who sees the vision of the Almighty, Who falls down, with eyes wide open:“ I see Him, but not now; I behold Him, but not near; A Star shall come out of Jacob; A Scepter shall rise out of Israel, And batter the brow of Moab, And destroy all the sons of tumult.“ And Edom shall be a possession; Seir also, his enemies, shall be a possession, While Israel does valiantly.Out of Jacob One shall have dominion, And destroy the remains of the city.”Then he looked on Amalek, and he took up his oracle and said:“ Amalek was first among the nations, But shall be last until he perishes.”Then he looked on the Kenites, and he took up his oracle and said:“ Firm is your dwelling place, And your nest is set in the rock;Nevertheless Kain shall be burned. How long until Asshur carries you away captive?”Then he took up his oracle and said:“ Alas! Who shall live when God does this?But ships shall come from the coasts of Cyprus, And they shall afflict Asshur and afflict Eber, And so shall Amalek, until he perishes.”

Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues.

I have become a fool in boasting; you have compelled me. For I ought to have been commended by you; for in nothing was I behind the most eminent apostles, though I am nothing.
