If I speak with the tongues of mankind and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

我若能說人間的方言，甚至天使的語言，卻沒有愛，我就成為鳴的鑼、響的鈸一般。

我若能說人間的方言，甚至天使的語言，卻沒有愛，我就成為鳴的鑼、響的鈸一般。

即使我能說人類和天使的各種語言，如果沒有愛，我不過像咣咣作響的鑼和鈸。

我若能說世人和天使的方言，卻沒有愛，我就成了鳴的鑼、響的鈸一樣。

假使我用人之捲舌頭說話、甚至於用天使的語言來說話，卻沒有愛，我就成了鳴的鑼響的鈸一般。

如果我能說人間和天使的各種殊言，卻沒有愛，我就成了嘈雜的鑼、鳴響的鈸；

我若能言諸國諸天使之言而無愛、則猶鳴金響鈸、

我如能言諸國方言、與天使之言、而無仁、則猶鳴金敲鈸、

我雖能言世人及天使之言、若無愛、則如鳴鉦響鈸、

使我無愛德、而徒能操萬國之音、作天神之語、則猶鳴鑼擊鈸而已矣。

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

Suppose I speak in the languages of human beings or of angels. If I don’t have love, I am only a loud gong or a noisy cymbal.

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from a sincere faith.

Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

If I have the gift of prophecy and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.And if I give away all my possessions to charity, and if I surrender my body so that I may glory, but do not have love, it does me no good.

Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away with; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away with.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.

Now concerning food sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge makes one conceited, but love edifies people.

But now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I benefit you unless I speak to you either by way of revelation, or of knowledge, or of prophecy, or of teaching?Yet even lifeless instruments, whether flute or harp, in producing a sound, if they do not produce a distinction in the tones, how will it be known what is played on the flute or on the harp?For if the trumpet produces an indistinct sound, who will prepare himself for battle?

For, while speaking out arrogant words of no value they entice by fleshly desires, by indecent behavior, those who barely escape from the ones who live in error,

Then He will answer them,‘ Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it for one of the least of these, you did not do it for Me, either.’

All are not apostles, are they? All are not prophets, are they? All are not teachers, are they? All are not workers of miracles, are they?All do not have gifts of healings, do they? All do not speak with tongues, do they? All do not interpret, do they?

For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit;

For if because of food your brother or sister is hurt, you are no longer walking in accordance with love. Do not destroy with your choice of food that person for whom Christ died.

was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak.

And if the ear says,“ Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body,” it is not for this reason any less a part of the body.
