For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy way eats and drinks judgment to himself if he doesn’t discern the Lord’s body.

因為人吃喝，若不分辨是主的身體，就是吃喝自己的罪了。

因為守聖餐的時候，若有人隨便吃喝，忘記了這是主的身體，他就是自招審判。

喫喝的人若不分辨這身體是甚麼，就是喫喝了自受的定罪。

因為那吃喝的人，如果不分辨主的身體，就是吃喝對自己的懲罰了。

不辨主身而飲食者、則以飲食干鞫也、

不識主體、而飲食不合其宜者、是自取罪戾也、

不合宜而飲食者、即以飲食取罪、因其不辨主之體也、

若冒昧食之、冒昧飲之、而不思此即主之聖體者、是以飲食而自取罪戾也。

For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.

Whoever eats and drinks must recognize the body of Christ. If they don’t, judgment will come upon them.

For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.

For if you eat the bread or drink the cup without honoring the body of Christ, you are eating and drinking God’s judgment upon yourself.

For whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.

For the one who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not properly recognize the body.

For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

For he that eateth and drinketh, eateth and drinketh judgment unto himself, if he discern not the body.

For whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.

For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

For the one who eats and drinks without careful regard for the body eats and drinks judgment against himself.

Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord’s cup in a way unworthy of the Lord will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.

For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.

But when we are judged, we are punished by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest your coming together be for judgment. The rest I will set in order whenever I come.

Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment.

Whoever keeps the commandment shall not come to harm, and his wise heart will know the time and procedure.

But solid food is for those who are full grown, who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.

Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.

But above all things, my brothers, don’t swear— not by heaven, or by the earth, or by any other oath; but let your“ yes” be“ yes”, and your“ no”,“ no”, so that you don’t fall into hypocrisy.

When he had given thanks, he broke it and said,“ Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me.”
