因为人吃喝，若不分辨是主的身体，就是吃喝自己的罪了。

因为守圣餐的时候，若有人随便吃喝，忘记了这是主的身体，他就是自招审判。

因为那吃喝的人，如果不辨明是主的身体，就是吃喝定在自己的身上的罪了。

因为那吃喝的人，如果不分辨主的身体，就是吃喝对自己的惩罚了。

因為人吃喝，若不分辨是主的身體，就是吃喝自己的罪了。

因為人吃喝，若不分辨是主的身體，他的吃喝就是定自己的罪了。

因為人吃喝，若不分辨是主的身體，他的吃喝就是定自己的罪了。

因為守聖餐的時候，若有人隨便吃喝，忘記了這是主的身體，他就是自招審判。

因為那吃喝的人，如果不辨明是主的身體，就是吃喝定在自己的身上的罪了。

喫喝的人若不分辨這身體是甚麼，就是喫喝了自受的定罪。

因為那吃喝的人，如果不分辨主的身體，就是吃喝對自己的懲罰了。

不辨主身而飲食者、則以飲食干鞫也、

不識主體、而飲食不合其宜者、是自取罪戾也、

不合宜而飲食者、即以飲食取罪、因其不辨主之體也、

若冒昧食之、冒昧飲之、而不思此即主之聖體者、是以飲食而自取罪戾也。

Whoever eats and drinks must recognize the body of Christ. If they don’t, judgment will come upon them.

For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.

For if you eat the bread or drink the cup without honoring the body of Christ, you are eating and drinking God’s judgment upon yourself.

For whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.

For the one who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not properly recognize the body.

For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

For he that eateth and drinketh, eateth and drinketh judgment unto himself, if he discern not the body.

For whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.

For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

For the one who eats and drinks without careful regard for the body eats and drinks judgment against himself.

For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy way eats and drinks judgment to himself if he doesn’t discern the Lord’s body.

So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.

That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.

Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.So then, my brothers and sisters, when you gather to eat, you should all eat together.Anyone who is hungry should eat something at home, so that when you meet together it may not result in judgment. And when I come I will give further directions.

Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.

Whoever obeys his command will come to no harm, and the wise heart will know the proper time and procedure.

But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

Above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear— not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. All you need to say is a simple“ Yes” or“ No.” Otherwise you will be condemned.

and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said,“ This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.”
