喫喝的人若不分辨這身體是甚麼，就是喫喝了自受的定罪。

因為那吃喝的人，如果不分辨主的身體，就是吃喝對自己的懲罰了。

不辨主身而飲食者、則以飲食干鞫也、

不識主體、而飲食不合其宜者、是自取罪戾也、

不合宜而飲食者、即以飲食取罪、因其不辨主之體也、

若冒昧食之、冒昧飲之、而不思此即主之聖體者、是以飲食而自取罪戾也。

For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy way eats and drinks judgment to himself if he doesn’t discern the Lord’s body.

For this reason, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord i n an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

That is why many of you are weak and sick, and quite a few are dead.

But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned with the world.So then, my brothers and sisters, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.If anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, so that when you assemble it does not lead to judgment. I will give directions about other matters when I come.

Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers and sisters, because you know that we will be judged more strictly.

Whoever obeys his command will not experience harm, and a wise person knows the proper time and procedure.

But solid food is for the mature, whose perceptions are trained by practice to discern both good and evil.

So the person who resists such authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will incur judgment

And above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath. But let your“ Yes” be yes and your“ No” be no, so that you may not fall into judgment.

and after he had given thanks he broke it and said,“ This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
