For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

不辨主身而飲食者、則以飲食干鞫也、

不識主體、而飲食不合其宜者、是自取罪戾也、

不合宜而飲食者、即以飲食取罪、因其不辨主之體也、

若冒昧食之、冒昧飲之、而不思此即主之聖體者、是以飲食而自取罪戾也。

For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.

Whoever eats and drinks must recognize the body of Christ. If they don’t, judgment will come upon them.

For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.

For if you eat the bread or drink the cup without honoring the body of Christ, you are eating and drinking God’s judgment upon yourself.

For whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.

For the one who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not properly recognize the body.

For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink[ this] cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

For this cause many[ are] weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerneth both time and judgment.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age,[ even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and[ your] nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

And when he had given thanks, he brake[ it], and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
