Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink[ this] cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

凡食主餅、飲主杯、而不合宜者、即干主身與血也、

凡食此餅、飲此杯、不合其宜者、是負主身主血者也、

故凡不合宜而食此餅飲主之杯者、即干主之體主之血矣、

故凡輕率冒昧、妄食聖餅、妄領聖爵者、則褻瀆聖體與聖血矣。

So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.

Eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord in the right way. Don’t do it in a way that isn’t worthy of him. If you do, you will be guilty. You’ll be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.

Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord.

So anyone who eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord unworthily is guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.

So, then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sin against the body and blood of the Lord.

Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy way, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.

Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or[ be] in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.

And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

But the man that[ is] clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you,[ they] are spirit, and[ they] are life.But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am[ he].Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake.Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake.He then lying on Jesus’ breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped[ it]. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave[ it] to Judas Iscariot,[ the son] of Simon.And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.Then Moses said unto Aaron, This[ is it] that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

For a multitude of the people,[ even] many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon every one[ That] prepareth his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though[ he be] not[ cleansed] according to the purification of the sanctuary.And the LORD hearkened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.
