今我以此諭爾時、亦告爾、我不能嘉獎爾、因爾會集非致益、乃致損也、

或臣宰、即王所遣罰惡獎善者、

爾欲飲食、豈無家乎、抑爾輕視天主之會、使貧乏者恥乎、我則何言、以此嘉獎爾乎、我不嘉獎爾、○

全會集於一處、如皆言方言、有無識者、或不信者入、豈不謂爾狂乎、

毋心中憎同族、當責同人、免因之負罪、

勿停止會集、效彼停止者、當彼此勸勉、見其日伊邇、更當如是、

爾攘竊、殺人、行淫、妄誓、焚香以敬巴力、崇事素未識之他神、又至為我名而建之殿、或作又至此殿即為籲我名之所下同立於我前曰、我儕得救、後仍行此可憎之事、此豈可乎、

主曰、爾當大呼、毋息焉、揚聲若角音、向我民宣示其過、向雅各家宣示其罪、彼眾日日尋求我、願明我道、似乎行義之民、不違其天主法度者、以義理求問於我、悅與天主相近、彼曰、我儕禁食而主不視、反躬克己而主不顧、是何故歟、曰、爾曹禁食、仍求利己、且勒逼人為爾作工、爾曹禁食、依然相爭相競、逞兇揮拳毆擊、爾今如此禁食、爾呼籲之聲、必不升聞於上、爾呼籲之聲必不升聞於上或作並非欲爾呼籲之聲升聞於上

若有饑者可食於家、免爾聚集以取罪、其餘之事、我來則定之、

兄弟乎、事當若何、爾曹既集、各人或歌頌、或教訓、

兄弟乎、我譽爾、因爾凡事記憶我、且守我所授爾之道、

暗存愛人之意、不如明責之、原文作明責愈於隱愛

又爾曹集於一處、非為食主之餐、

毋復獻無益之祭、馨香馨香或作焚香我甚憎之、月朔、安息日、大會之日、我所厭棄、守節期、又復行惡、我所不容、爾之朔日、節期、我心厭惡、我視若重負、難再容忍、

有司非使行善者畏、乃使行惡者畏、爾欲不畏秉權者乎、惟行善、則可得其褒獎、
