If anyone intends to quarrel about this, we have no other practice, nor do the churches of God.

若有持異議者、吾將應之曰、吾人無此習慣、天主教會中亦無此習慣也。

If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice— nor do the churches of God.

If anyone wants to argue about this, we don’t have any other practice. And God’s churches don’t either.

If anyone is inclined to be contentious, we have no such practice, nor do the churches of God.

But if anyone wants to argue about this, I simply say that we have no other custom than this, and neither do God’s other churches.

Nevertheless, as the Lord has assigned to each one, as God has called each person, so must he live. I give this sort of direction in all the churches.

If someone spreads false teachings and does not agree with sound words( that is, those of our Lord Jesus Christ) and with the teaching that accords with godliness,he is conceited and understands nothing, but has an unhealthy interest in controversies and verbal disputes. This gives rise to envy, dissension, slanders, evil suspicions,

take them and purify yourself along with them and pay their expenses, so that they may have their heads shaved. Then everyone will know there is nothing in what they have been told about you, but that you yourself live in conformity with the law.

For you became imitators, brothers and sisters, of God’s churches in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, because you too suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they in fact did from the Jews,

They have been informed about you– that you teach all the Jews now living among the Gentiles to abandon Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or live according to our customs.

for God is not characterized by disorder but by peace. As in all the churches of the saints,the women should be silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak. Rather, let them be in submission, as in fact the law says.
