你們也不可像他們中的有些人那樣，成為拜偶像的，正如經上所記：「民眾坐下吃喝，起來玩樂。」

So don’t worship statues of gods, as some of them did. It is written,“ The people sat down to eat and drink. Then they got up to dance wildly in front of their god.”( Exodus 32:6)

or worship idols as some of them did. As the Scriptures say,“ The people celebrated with feasting and drinking, and they indulged in pagan revelry.”

難道你們不知道，不義的人不會繼承神的國嗎？不要被迷惑了！無論是淫亂的、拜偶像的、通姦的、做孌童的、同性戀的、

但如今我寫給你們的是：如果有人被稱為弟兄，卻是淫亂的、或貪心的、或拜偶像的、或誹謗人的、或酗酒的、或勒索人的，你們不可與他交往，連與這樣的人一起吃飯都不可。

所以，我親愛的各位，你們要逃避拜偶像的事。

弟兄們，你們在思想上不要做小孩子，但是在惡事上要做嬰孩，在思想上要做成熟的人。律法書上記著：「主說：『我要藉著說別種語言的人，藉著別人的嘴唇對這子民說話。即使這樣，他們也不會聽我的。』」這樣，說殊言不是給信的人做為標記，而是給不信的人；但做先知傳道不是給不信的人做為標記，而是給信的人。

然而，不是所有的人都有這知識。有些人因習慣了偶像，至今還以為所吃的是祭過偶像的食物。他們的良心因為軟弱，就被玷汙了。
